+Where can I see that a customer has requested a Gift Message, Wrap or Receipt?
When a customer selects options from the Gift Options pop-up modal, these preferences are recorded and updated behind the scenes in the cart attributes. Here’s how you can view these gift options in your Shopify admin:
Open Your Shopify Admin Dashboard:
- Navigate to your Shopify store admin dashboard to review recent orders.
Locate the Order:
- Go to the Orders section to find and select the specific order you want to review.
View Gift Options in Additional Details:
- Once you’ve selected the order, scroll down to the Additional Details section. Here, you will find the details of the gift options the customer has selected:
- Gift Wrap: This will appear as a new "Gift Wrap" product added to the cart.
- Gift Message and Gift Receipt: These options will be visible in the Additional Details section.
Process the Requested Modifications:
- Based on the gift options selected by the customer, you can now proceed with the necessary modifications to fulfill their request.
