+How to create an Events API TikTok Pixel?

If for some reason the user interface that you are seeing in your TikTok Ads Dashboard appears differnetly than in the screenshots that you are seeing in this guide, please check the alternative guide

Enter your TikTok Ads Dashboard homepage, which looks like:


Hover your mouse on the Tools tab in the top navigation bar, then click on Events.


Click on the Connect data source button that appears in the top right side of the page:


In the Pop Up window that appeared, choose Web and then click Next:


In the next step, click on the Skip button:


Choose the Manual setup option and then click Next:


Choose the Events API option and then click Next:


Give a unique name to your pixel and then click Create:


In the next step, don't make any changes and just click Next:


In the next step, mark and copy the Pixel ID that will appear:


Go back to TiXel's dashboard in your Shopify store and paste the Pixel ID you've just copied in the Pixel ID field:


Then, go back to the TikTok Ads Manager tab and click on the Generate access token button. Then copy the access token that appears.


Go back to TiXel's dashboard in your Shopify store and paste the Access Token you've just copied in the Events API Access Token field:


Give a unique name to your new pixel and then click on the green Add Pixel button at the top of the page.


Then, go back to the TikTok Ads Manager tab and click on the Next button. Then, click on the Finish button that appears at the bottom of the page:


You have successfully installed the Events API TikTok Pixel in your store! 🥳 Make sure to keep the app installed in order to keep the added Pixel in your store.
