Introduction

The TiXel app allows you to easily track user events and optimize your ad campaigns by integrating the Snapchat Pixel and Conversions API (CAPI) into your store. This guide will walk you through how to find your Pixel ID and generate a CAPI token from Snapchat, and then configure them within the TiXel app.

Follow these steps to set up your Snapchat Pixel and CAPI:

Part 1: Find Your Snapchat Pixel ID and Generate an Access Token

1. Open Snapchat Business Manager: Navigate to the Snapchat business manager and log in to your business account.
2. Find Your Pixel ID: Click the menu in the top corner and navigate to Assets > Pixels. Create new or select your Pixel from the list and copy the Pixel ID string.

3. Navigate to Business Details: In the left sidebar you will see your Business Settings navigation, select Business Details.

4. Generate the CAPI Access Token: Scroll down the Business Details page until you find the Conversions API Tokens section. Click the Generate Token button and copy the token that appears.

Part 2: Add the Pixel to TiXel

1. Open TiXel Settings: Go to your TiXel app dashboard and click on All Pixels from the navigation menu.

2. Add a New Pixel: Click on the Add Pixel button to start setting up a new integration.

3. Select the Platform: Choose Snapchat from the grid of available advertising platforms.

4. Configure Pixel Settings:

• Paste the Snapchat Pixel ID you copied earlier into the first field.
• Paste the Access Token (your CAPI token) into the second field.
• Give your pixel a recognizable Pixel Name.
• Choose whether to apply the pixel to all products or only specific ones, then click save.
