However, there may be times when you want users to stay on your main site, regardless of their geolocation. This guide explains how to bypass automatic redirection and allow users to browse your main language site.


How to Bypass Geolocation Redirection

You can provide visitors with a special URL that disables geolocation-based redirection, allowing them to remain on your main site.

Steps to Override Redirection

  1. Ask visitors to access your website using this URL format:
yourwebsite.com?gcrOverride=true
  1. When users visit the site with this parameter, the app will not redirect them based on location.
  2. Visitors can now browse your site in the main language without interruption.

Example Usage

If your website URL is:

https://www.example.com

Visitors should enter:

https://www.example.com?gcrOverride=true

This will disable geolocation redirection and allow them to remain on the main site.


When to Use This Feature
