How to create a blank "Blocked" page on your WiX site using EditorX
If you're using Blocky to manage access on your Wix site, you might want to create a dedicated "Blocked" page that visitors are redirected to when their access is restricted. This guide will walk you through the process of creating a blank "Blocked" page without a header or footer, allowing you to customize it to your unique style.
Follow these steps to create your "Blocked" page:
Access the Wix Editor X
Go to Wix Editor X and select your site's Editor.
Open the Pages Selector
In the Editor, click and expand the Pages selector to view your current pages.
Manage Pages
Scroll down and click on the blue "Manage Pages" button.
Add a New Page
In the menu on the left, click the blue "+ Add New Page" button.
Choose the "Page" option and click the blue "Add" button.
Remove Existing Elements
Delete any existing elements like headers or footers from the new page. These elements will remain on other pages but will not appear on this new "Blocked" page.
Design Your Page
Customize the page to your preference, adding any text or design elements you wish.
Set the URL Slug
Select the page you just created, click on the three dots next to it, and choose "SEO Basics."
Change the URL slug to "blocked-page."
Publish Your Page
Click the blue "Publish" button in the top right corner of the screen.
Your "Blocked" page is now set up and ready to be used with Blocky. If you have any questions or need further assistance, don’t hesitate to contact our support team. Happy editing!
