# Why Am I Seeing a TikTok Ads Manager Warning About My Domain?

## Introduction
When using the **Events API** with your TikTok Pixel, you may see a yellow warning in your TikTok Ads Manager that says:
**"1 issue could get your ads disapproved."**
The message usually reads:
*"Link does not match the events data collected by the selected data connection on the ads group page. Either use a different link or select a different data connection. Connected domains: <your .myshopify.com domain>."*
---
## What Does This Warning Mean?
This is a **common automated notification** from TikTok. It appears because TikTok detects both your **.myshopify.com domain** and your **custom domain**. Since the domains are different, the system flags a mismatch—even though it's expected behavior.

| There’s no need to worry—this message does **not** indicate that something is broken.

---

## Will This Affect My Ads?
No. Despite the warning, TiXel continues to **track and transmit event data accurately** using Shopify’s Web Pixels API. This notification has **no effect** on your ad approval or performance.

## Conclusion
The domain warning in TikTok Ads Manager is safe to ignore. Your TikTok Pixel is still working as expected with TiXel.
