# How to import Store Locations (Bulk Upload)

## Introduction
Importing a large list of locations into **Way: Google Maps Store Locator** lets you add or update many store locations at once using a spreadsheet file. This is the fastest way to set up a large store locator - especially if you have dozens (or thousands) of locations.

###### Before you import
* Make sure your Store Locator is enabled in your theme (App Embed), so imported locations can display on the map.
* For best results, always start from the **sample template** to ensure your column headers match.
###### Supported file types
* **CSV (.csv)**
* **Excel (.xlsx)**

## Step 1: Download the sample file
1. Go to **Store Locator Settings**
2. In **Store Locations section** click **Import / Export**
3. Choose **Import bulk store locations**
4. Download the **Sample file** and fill it in

Using the sample file ensures your column names and formatting are correct.

## Step 2: Fill in your locations (one row = one location)
### Columns in the sample file
### Required:
* **title** — Location name (e.g., `Way Flagship Store`)
* **fullAddress** — Full address in one field (Make sure to test the imported locations for accuracy, especially the Google Maps URL.)
Example: `123 Broadway, New York, NY 10001, United States`
### **Optional:**
* **latitude** - Decimal format (example: `40.741895`)
* **longitude** - Decimal format (example: `73.989308`)
* **phone** - Include country code if possible (example: `+1 415 555 1234`)
* **imageURL** - Public image link (must be accessible online) - Recommended size: 280x125px
* **Opening Hours (Sunday, Monday, …, Saturday)** - Each day has its own dedicated column:
1. Enter an opening–closing range or type `Closed`.
2. Both 24h (`09:00-17:00`) and 12h (`9:00 AM-5:00 PM`) formats are accepted.
3. To indicate a location is **open 24 hours**, simply enter `00:00-00:00`.

## Step 3: Upload and import
1. In **Store Locations section** click **Import / Export → Import bulk store locations**
2. Upload your file
3. Click **Import**
After import, your locations will appear in the Store Locations list.

### **Please Note**
* Only **title** and **fullAddress** are mandatory fields.
* If additional fields are included in the file, they **should not be left empty**, as this may cause issues.
* If you do not intend to use other fields, it is recommended to include **only title and fullAddress**.

### **Best Practices (Avoid Errors)**
* Keep the **header row exactly the same** as the sample file.
* Do **not merge cells** or add extra header rows.
* Use **one location per row**.
