# How Can I Use an Existing Legacy TikTok Pixel?

## Introduction  
If you already have a TikTok pixel and want to use it with **TiXel**, you can easily connect it by copying your existing Pixel ID from the TikTok Ads Manager and pasting it into the TiXel app.

## Step-by-Step: Connect Your Existing Pixel

| **Important:** Please make sure that the native __TikTok Sales Channel is not installed in your store__, as it may collide with TiXel's functionality.

1. Open the [TikTok Ads Manager](https://ads.tiktok.com/i18n/home).
2. Hover your mouse over **Tools** in the top nav and click **Events**.

3. Click on **Data sources** in the left nav bar.

4. Locate your existing legacy pixel in the list.

5. Copy the **Pixel ID** shown below the pixel name.

6. [Click here](https://admin.shopify.com/?redirect=%2Fapps/c6ad935e0222409e5d3620ae238b4169) and open the **TiXel** app dashboard in your Shopify admin.  

7. Click **Add New Pixel**, then choose **Legacy Pixel**.

8. **Paste** the Pixel ID you've just copied.

9. Click **Add Pixel** to complete the setup.
